High quality, attention to detail and originality are just some of the features of the YariNoHanzo Superior Katana.
To make one of these Katanas, more specialized craftsmen are needed with a wealth of years of experience.
The forger is dedicated to making the blade with traditional methods such as Kobuse Kitae, Honsanami Kitae or Soshu Kitae and the Togishi takes care of the blade polishing. The blades are clay temperes and the Hamon are authentic and very visible thanks to the high polishing grade.
Once the blade is ready, other artisans dedicate themselves to making the Koshirae that is literally built on the blade.
All parts of the Koshirae are inspired by ancient pieces found in Japanese museums, and the themes used are the most classic ones; Tombo (dragonfly), Kamakiri (praying mantis), Oni (demon), Nami (waves) and many others.
A Superior series YariNoHanzo Katana is not only a high-level training instrument, but also a unique piece to collect or display.
