Every detail — from the rich blue silk tsukaito to the buffalo horn lacquered saya — exemplifies YariNoHanzo's pursuit of excellence.

The blade is forged using the prestigious Soshu Kitae lamination method, combining 1045, 1060, and 1095 high carbon steel layers. Although unsharpened, the blade offers a highly polished finish, a beautiful visible Gunome Choji hamon, and features no bohi, ensuring traditional weight and feel in the hand.

Perfectly balanced and constructed with a full tang blade and dual mekugi (bamboo pins), the Kamei Iaito is designed to handle the rigorous demands of martial arts training while maintaining its refined presentation.

The handle is wrapped in premium blue silk tsukaito, presented in the Hinerimaki wrapping style, with Hishigami inserts and genuine black Samegawa (ray skin) — ensuring a secure, ergonomic, and traditional grip during forms practice.
