The blade is forged using a rare and high-end Shihozume Kitae construction, combining layers of 1045, 1060, and 1095 high carbon steel. While the blade is not sharpened, it delivers the authentic weight and feedback of a real sword. The traditional lamination method not only provides strength but also mimics the appearance of real cutting blades — ideal for practitioners transitioning to or from live blades.
