The Shirasaya Wakizashi Shinken is a handmade Japanese short sword crafted in a minimalist style, perfect for collectors, martial artists, and enthusiasts who value simplicity and authenticity. Forged using the Maru Kitae method, the blade is made from 1060 high carbon steel and includes a bohi (fuller) to reduce weight and improve control. Its full tang construction is securely fastened with a single mekugi (bamboo pin), offering both strength and safety in practice scenarios.
