Hand-forged using the Maru Kitae technique with 1095 high carbon steel, the blade is clay tempered and features a striking and authentic Gunome Choji hamon. The blade is full tang, securely mounted to the tsuka with two bamboo mekugi, ensuring structural integrity and reliability even during intense practice. The handle is wrapped in black silk tsukaito, following the traditional Hinerimaki style with hishigami, providing a tight, durable grip.
