The Oni Katana’s koshirae features an extraordinary level of detail, depicting Oni, Hannya, and Futen motifs, each representing strength, chaos, transformation, and spiritual protection. These designs are directly inspired by antique fittings preserved in renowned Japanese museums, paying homage to centuries of samurai culture and folklore.

The blade is hand-forged using the advanced Kobuse Kitae lamination method, combining a 1060 carbon steel core with a 1095 high carbon jacket, creating a sword with incredible strength, resilience, and edge retention. It is clay tempered, forming a natural and distinct Gunome Choji hamon, and includes a bohi to reduce weight and deliver that signature tachikaze sound during movement. This katana is fully sharpened, battle-ready, and engineered for high-level Iaido, Kendo, and Kenjutsu practice.

It features a full tang construction, securely anchored to the tsuka with two mekugi for maximum durability and safety.

The handle is wrapped with premium Italian-made black leather tsukagawa, layered in Hinerimaki style with hishigami inserts to ensure stability, definition, and longevity. Beneath lies genuine black Samegawa (ray skin), providing grip strength and visual depth.

The black lacquered saya is built from high-quality wood and finished with real buffalo horn components at the koiguchi and kojiri. A unique metal Kurikata featuring a demonic Hannya face reinforces the Oni theme with striking character.
