The Omura Katana Limited Edition is a high-quality, unsharpened iaito sword, designed for safe and authentic practice of traditional Japanese martial arts. Whether you train in Iaido, Kendo, Kenjutsu, or Ninjutsu, this handcrafted katana offers the right balance of aesthetics, realism, and functionality—without the risks of a sharpened blade.

Crafted from 1045 high-carbon steel using the Maru Kitae forging method, the blade features a Bohi for better handling and audible feedback during movement. Though non-sharpened, the blade retains a realistic weight and feel, making it ideal for kata practice and perfecting technique.

The blade is full tang and firmly attached with two Mekugi (bamboo pins) to ensure structural integrity. The tsuka is wrapped in green cotton Tsukaito, tied in a traditional alternate Tsukamaki style with Hishigami, and overlaid on real ray skin Samegawa, providing excellent grip and durability, even during extended daily practice.

A classic iron Tsuba offers hand protection and a traditional aesthetic, while the black lacquered wooden saya delivers both style and protection. This katana is fully disassemblable, following the same structure as a real katana, which allows for inspection, cleaning, and part replacement.

Each Omura Katana is delivered in an elegant cotton bag featuring the YariNoHanzo logo, making it a perfect piece for storage, transport, or display.
