The Fuji Katana Shinken combines a museum-inspired Koshirae with a sharp, full-tang Honsanmai Kitae blade forged from 1045, 1060 and 1095 high-carbon steel. The folded and clay-tempered blade features a single bohi and a real Gunome Choji hamon.
This Katana is sharp and suitable for Battodo and Tameshigiri.

Fuji Katana Shinken – Superior Special Edition
The Fuji Katana Shinken is a sharp, full-tang handmade katana designed for martial arts practice, Tameshigiri and collection. Its Koshirae is a faithful reproduction of various pieces preserved in Japanese museums and features elegant Mount Fuji motifs.
Honsanmai Kitae Blade
The blade is forged using the Honsanmai Kitae method with a composite of 1045, 1060 and 1095 high-carbon steel. The blade is folded and clay tempered, creating a real Gunome Choji hamon.

Gold Silk Tsuka and Traditional Saya
The Tsuka is wrapped in high-quality gold silk Tsuka-Ito made in Japan, using the Hinerimaki Tsukamaki style with Hishigami. Beneath the wrapping is genuine black ray skin Samegawa, combining traditional aesthetics with a secure grip.
The 79 cm Saya is made from black lacquered wood in Kuroro finish. The Koiguchi, Kurikata and Kojiri are made from genuine buffalo horn. The Koshirae is decorated with Mount Fuji motifs inspired by museum-preserved Japanese pieces.
This Fuji Katana has passed YariNoHanzo quality control and is supplied with a katana maintenance kit and a black/gold silk sword bag with fusahimo, both included at no extra cost.
